New bilingual Wedding Celebrant for Nouvelle Aquitaine

Sophie, bilingual Wedding Celebrant in Nouvelle Aquitaine

Dear bride & groom,

My name is Sophie and I have recently joined the Unique ceremonies team. I cover the Charente, Charente Maritime, Deux-Sèvres & Vienne regions therefore if you are planning to celebrate your union in the beautiful places which these regions offer such as Poitiers, Niort, Cognac, La Rochelle or the Ile de Ré, I would be thrilled to take care of your Big Day.

I live in Charente Maritime and I am fairly new to this region as I have lived in the centre of France for 13 years. I am a French native but I have spent many years working in London and in San Francisco. I have been married for 22 years to a British citizen, which contributed greatly to my knowledge of the Anglo-Saxon way of life. I have always loved the English language and showed an interest in the culture, which led me to teach English to adults. I have been teaching English for 5 years now after a previous career in the finance industry. This training activity led me to develop further my capacity to speak in public and to display skills necessary to set up a trusting relationship with others such as care and patience. I regularly welcome staff members of large companies to spend a week in my own home where they are taught English and are also involved in everyday life. In addition to my personal and professional background, I can honestly say that I am naturally open minded, flexible, people oriented and that I have a good sense of humour. I would be delighted to use these skills to create a relaxed and authentic atmosphere for your wedding ceremony, which I will perform in a professional manner;

You may wonder how a former finance expert who teaches English ended up being a wedding celebrant? Well, I am going to be honest with you: Until recently, I did not know that there were professional wedding celebrants out there but when I stumbled upon Magali’s job offer, it caught my attention. I was looking for a new challenge which required other skills than teaching. I spoke to Magali and discovered we had similar experiences and I liked her enthusiasm. Curious by nature, I also saw the opportunity to meet new people, develop a relationship with them and help them make their day unforgettable!

Like most of us, I am genuinely touched by beautiful stories and I believe that I am extremely lucky to have the opportunity to contribute to creating beautiful stories for bridal couples. This is why my aim is to offer you my help to create your beautiful story and to celebrate your union with your loved ones as witnesses.

The Charente, Charente-Maritime, Deux-Sèvres and Vienne regions all offer beautiful settings for your wedding with a beautiful light and diverse landscape. You will also find many stunning properties which would not only offer you the most beautiful backdrop for your wedding but also provide comfortable accommodation for your guests.

I hope that this article will make you decide to celebrate your love in the Charente, Charente Maritime, Deux-Sèvres or Vienne regions who have so much to offer you and I also hope that I will have the pleasure to celebrate a beautiful wedding ceremony for you, which I will design with the greatest care.

I am looking forward to creating the most beautiful memories for you and your guests.

Sophie
