Hello future newlyweds!
My name is Pascale and i am the new bilingual wedding celebrant for the Dordogne region.
I am delighted to join Magali’s team with Unique Ceremonies and I look forward to being your wedding celebrant.
Would you like to know a little about me? Here we go! I am a French and Canadian citizen. I have lived in Canada for the last 23 years. Family reasons have brought us back to France. My husband and I decided to settle in Dordogne, in the Périgord Noir specifically, where we found a charming stone house. Why Dordogne? It is a beautiful region offering stunning viewpoints, lush natural surroundings, many places to visit, lots of history and cultural sites, and, of course, food and wine are second to none!
Why am I venturing into this new occupation? After many years in the human resources field for different companies in Canada, I decided to look at other areas upon my return to my home country. Becoming a celebrant came as « a wish come true ». As a matter of fact, my husband and I chose to have a celebrant for our wedding. The celebrant did a great job and made everything smooth and easy, so much that I wished I could do the same thing; how can you be stressed with a job that allows you to meet lovely couples and their loved ones, to share with them some of their most treasured moments… Now, let’s fast forward to the day I read Magali’s job posting. I thought, what are the odds? so I decided to apply. Shortly after, I had a pleasant and insightful conversation with Magali. Her passion and professionalism are such that I know I’m going to learn a lot about wedding ceremonies and the celebrant profession. The best moment was when she called me to invite me to join her team. Exciting!
Dear brides and grooms, if you are looking for a beautiful region to hold your wedding ceremony in France, I invite you to consider Dordogne and the neighbouring departments, incidentally ones I will be covering: Corrèze (19), Haute-Vienne (87), Lot & Garonne (47) and Gironde (33). Each of these departments is offering a wide choice of luxury hotels, domains and chateaux, with endless possibilities to find the right location for any marriage themes (nature, history, gourmet, sporting etc.).
“Marriage is a mosaic you build with your spouse. Millions of tiny moments that create your love story.” Jennifer E. Smith
I would be honoured to be part of one of your tiny moments of bliss.
Looking forward to seeing you!
